repeat after me

"the best lens is the lens you have"

Instead of playing "Vincent Versace says" as I did in my earlier post, I have come across another photographic mantra that may prove helpful...

"the best lens is the lens you have"

see, this one lets you feel better about what you already have, and gets you out taking pictures, which is, after all, the whole point of this exercise, isn't it! :)

I always thought that the best lens was ...

-usually someone elses' and always has a nice little red ring around it with an 'L' in the name. ;-)

After being in Vancouver for a few days I have quickly come to realize that I certianly need to invest in a good lens (or two). --less editing involved--

**good luck with that, i tell myself**

I guess your feel good post about being happy about your possessions, went right passed me.

Sorry.

Maybe today I will remember your blog and enjoy what I have....

Thank you.

LOL, yeah, those "L" lenses...

Canon's smart... I think the L stands for "lust", personally...

GAS - gear acquisition syndrome

I'm not sure what the cure is, but I think reflection upon what you DO have is one of the processes that we must regularly do in order to combat the onset of GAS.
